Picture it…Summer of 2021, Kelvin is relaxing in a hotel room in Mexico, Kortney is sitting pool side at a resort in Jamaica, and some how they were both compelled to open up Facebook Dating and just happen to match with each other. Kelvin, being intrigued that Kortney “rode bikes”, figured she rode bicycles and thought “Hey this would be cool, I could have a riding partner!” But little did he know, her bike had a whole lot more horsepower because she meant….motorcycles.
Once they returned, the conversations continued to flow. Kelvin invited Kortney to his brother from another mother’s birthday meet up, where they shared some moments of openness and vulnerability. It’s safe to say they both knew they wanted to dig a little deeper and find out more. After a fun date night at Cue Bar – winner shall remain nameless – they agreed that at 11:59:59PM every night, they would reevaluate how things were going and decided if they were gonna go at it again for another day.

After a year of 11:59:59pm check-ins, on December 10, 2022, what Kortney thought was planned as a family dinner for their parents and close family to meet, Kelvin with the help of her sister Shadee, secretly planned a surprise proposal that filled Kortney with tears of joy as she shakingly said “YYEESSSSS!”
